Giving your first conference paper as a PhD student can be a nervous experience. That's why the next Thesis Forum is on Public Speaking with Confidence. We have arranged for three speakers to share their experiences with you. Hear advice from Maribel Canto-Lopez (Lecturer, Law), Richard
Mbasu (PhD student, Cancer Studies) and Katie Dexter (PhD student, Physics
and Astronomy).
The Thesis Forum is an informal event where PhD students from across the university can discuss issues that matter to them. It is free and open to all. Coffee and biscuits will be provided.
When: Thursday 17th March, 2pm to 4pm
Where: ATT002
If you cannot make it in person the Forum will be broadcast live as a webinar. To access the webinar go to the link: https://connect.le.ac.uk/publicspeaking/ and login as a guest.
If you have any question about the Forum please email William: wjbf1@le.ac.uk
