Our e-resources continue as normal. For an overview of the online collections and resources we have, please see the My Subject pages and Journals A to Z.

For now, please continue to place document supply requests, book orders or digitisation requests. We will try to provide digital copies wherever we can. See request items for my research for how to do this

If you have a question, or would like to arrange a consultation, please email in the first instance using: librarians@le.ac.uk

All individual consultations will now be run as webinars/video calls.

A reminder that we offer advice, support, tools and platforms in the following areas:

  • Using EndNote and RefWorks; referencing and bibliographies
  • Managing your research data and data management planning advice
  • Making your publications and thesis open access

For further information, see our web pages
Theses Submission
Requirements for final submission of your thesis to the Library remain the same: a bound thesis, an ethesis and the final submission form. However, please do not send or deliver your bound thesis to the Library during this period, as we are not there to receive it.

Bound thesis

We recommend using the University Print Services to print, bind and delivery your thesis. They will store the bound copy until delivery to the Library can re-commence; they will also notify us that the thesis has been printed. This can all be arranged online.

Ethesis and Final Submission Form

Doctoral College Notification
We will continue to notify the Doctoral College Office of completed submissions to the Library for awards to be made.

If you have any questions regarding final thesis submission to the Library, please contact us directly at ethesis@le.ac.uk. Any questions regarding the Viva, confirmation of amendments and embargo applications should be sent to pgresearch@le.ac.uk.
